Peaceful SriLanka

Three decades back
this island of paradise
was a prolific island
stunning beauty of
huge hills and greenish fields
were the dominaring force of
my great noble SriLanka

Tender breeze from the
rain forests and the
running rivers from the
enermous coomb were the
welcoming receotion for
strangers from all over the cosmos

It was an era
no horrors to experience or
no trapidition of inrasion
to feel the great pain of blood shed

As a sudden blow
Attacked a sudden storm
throughout my loving country
serenity turnedout to great fuss
while making a vast mess
There were harmonious hearts but
pertified with gun shots
poor hearts were yearning for a
purified peace land,invisible from
horrors and bloodsheds

As a sudden force
rose a better time
It was the day
the slaughterous germs were rid away
to restore the fragrance of peace in this land

Sun shines-and my
Hopes peep-out- To welcome
A host of angels with
Illuminating candles-waiting at the
Reception of my heart to
Anticipate a new world
